What are we about.

The Westside We the People is a group of Patriots that are involved in the local level of their communities on the westside of Cincinnati. We work to get conservative candidates elected and hold them accountable. We stay abreast of local laws how they effect the local communities and the great state of Ohio. We work to protect our families, homes and our communities. We support the Constitution of the State of Ohio and of the United States. We are very much Pro - Life and Traditional Marriage.

What you’ll Learn

Meet the Candidates

We want to bring to you the candidates from our districts and communities so that we can build relationships with them and let them know our stands on the issues and laws that will affect our day to day lives and support them the best way that we know how and if need be to hold their feet to the fire if they stray.

How to Volunteer

Each month we strive to have a means of volunteering brought to you by those who have done the work and are willing to teach others how to be effective as well.

Election Integrity

One of the main goals of the We the People is to get involved in the election process and how we can get to the point of fair and free elections. We want to ensure that the process is secure in our state and that the count is just. We will learn from the best and implement what we can to insure the safest elections in Ohio.

Legislative Updates

Each month as we go through the year we will have one of our speakers bring to you the legislative updates from the capital. We will host a Q&A on how these proposed laws affect us in the local level. It will also give us a chance to voice our opinions to our legislators and hold them accountable.

Meet our Hosts

Angela Hymer

Co-Founder

about the host

Angela Hymer was born and raised on the West Side of Cincinnati by devout Christian parents. She attributes the credit to the Lord and to her parents for her values and strength. Her father served in Vietnam. He instilled in her a passion and love for her country. Her mother instilled a love and passion in her to serve her local community and those in need. Most importantly they raised her to love and serve Jesus.

Angela is a wife and mother. Her career is filled with a variety of job experience directly working with the public. Currently working as a Pro specialist at Lowes, she recently ran for OH state representative in district 30.

The unconstitutional mandates, lockdowns and stolen election of 2020 was the great awakening in her life. She began to pay attention to the "representatives" and politics in depth. Angela noticed a lack of representation for The People and our unalienable rights alongside the attempted destruction of our great nation from the inside.

Angela is a strong advocate for "the power of the people is greater than the people in power" Angela aims to do her part in returning power from the government back into the peoples hands. Her values as a devout
Christian directly reflect her passion for America first, as a Constitutional Conservative.

Our Guest Speakers this Month

George Brunemann

"You cannot expect a problem to be fixed by the people who created it.Now is the time for true problem solvers to step upand make substantive changes that benefit the taxpaying voters."

Running for office is not something that I ever expected to be doing but our current representatives are doing nothing to help the taxpayers who elected them. Over the last couple of years I have been focused on township and school district issues. In both cases the soaring rate of property taxes is strongly influenced by poor policies enacted in Columbus. We need to take action at the root of the problem and I will need the support of all patriots to win in March and have a chance to start making real change in Ohio.

Here is a quick summary of George's background:

  • Personal
    • Husband with two children and four grandchildren
    • Singer with St William Choir and Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra
    • Lifelong Westside resident with brief excursions to Indiana
  • Education
    • Elder High School, Valedictorian
    • BS Computer/Electrical Engineering, University of Evansville, 4.0/4.0
    • MS Computer Engineering, University of Cincinnati, 4.0/4.0
  • Professional
    • Small Business Owner for the past 20 years, NgEK Inc.
    • An engineering consulting firm specializing in control of extremely complex systems (jet engines, diesel engines, commercial powertrains and hybrid commercial vehicles)
    • Known for “out of the box” innovations including 16 US Patents
  • Political
    • Became active in 2009 when in the first 100 days of Democrat rule, the government took over two car companies and a bank while borrowing over a trillion dollars.
    • Started a local Tea Party and was President of the Cincinnati Tea Party in 2012.
    • Started RestoreLiberty.US in 2021 to focus on communication, analysis and coordination of local efforts.
    • Work on local School and Township issues highlighted the need for change at the state level to remove the emphasis on never-ending property tax increases.
Dr. Kelly Kohls

Dr. Kelly Kohls is a wife of almost 40 years and the mother of five children, all of whom attended public schools. She is an educator and a businesswoman. After teaching for ten years at universities, she then operated a private practice for fifteen years.

As the former president of the Springboro Community City Schools Board of Education, Dr. Kohls also served on the board of education for the Warren County Career Center.

With her extensive background in the field of education, Dr. Kohls has seen public education change in ways that many citizens do not fully understand. Dr. Kohls speaks at gatherings and meetings all over Ohio to train school board members on how to be an effective steward of their community’s public education system.  She trains parents to be involved in school matters by taking personal responsibility for their children’s education and taking actions to insist on education accountability.

While public education is the answer for some students, parents should have other options, as well. School choice allows moms and dads to make informed decisions about the educational opportunities that best meet the needs of each student.

Dr. Kohls strives to prepare citizens and school board members to affect a shift in the current philosophy of education. She travels the state at her own expense, educating the public on “Why Education Is Failing Our Students and Why Common Core Is Not the Answer.” She presents not only the problems, but solutions and recommendations, as well.

Dr. Kohls follows her words with action, to which her record in Springboro gives evidence. While she served on the school board there, the district succeeded in reducing the per-student expenditures, lowering annual taxes for district property owners by $1.3 million. While academic achievement scores rose, the Springboro community, once the second highest taxed district, now enjoys the lowest property tax rate in Warren County.

Dr. Kohls believes that it is absolutely imperative that we fix our public schools, which have become a money funnel to the adults who then fund the anti-American political agenda.

Tami Nolan
Tammy Nolan from KY Election Integrity Team will be here discussing a new app called VotifyNow that will be going Nationwide to help with Nation wide Election Integrity. Tammy has been working with the developer of the App and Tammy wants everyone to know about it.

Tammy will show you how to download the app and the features. This app will make sure anything that is seen in elections can be reported in real time and be investigated and the app will show you right where it's being reported.

You will not want to miss this information and you will want to share the app with your family and friends.

Tammy also encourages everyone to get involved in Election Integrity and build a team. She is happy to help you with that in anyway.
